TEDDY BEARS PICNIC

Today I am bringing along Jessie May to Melody's Picnic, I love this pattern, over the years I have made a total of 10 Jessie May's and give away 6 family and friends, I have made them in different colours (button hair and dresses), 3 of the 10 are Brown Jessie May's, and a few of them have raggy hair, I prefer the button ones, it takes many hours to sew all the buttons on the head though. This particular Jessie May I entered into the Caboolture show 7 years ago and she won 1st prize, I was so excited, this is the very first time I put some items in a show, I entered 5 items and I won 2 firsts and 3 seconds. I have found it difficult to give away this Jessie May, the very first Jessie May I made my myself is in dark pink/maroon colours, I shall bring her to the picnic in the future.
Do you have someone to bring along to the picnic today ?

Ania had a holiday to Poland and England back in 2006 and she brought me back this cute little pair from Poland, I love their clothes. Ania has just recently spent the past 6 weeks in Poland and England again returning last Friday. I wonder what she was brought me back this time.....

SOMETHING NEW

WOOHOO !!!! I have been so excited since last Tuesday when we made the decision to buy ourselves a BRAND NEW car, this is our very first brand new vehicle and we have had LOTS of cars over the past 32-1/2 years. It's a DODGE NITRO, the children will be most upset with us as we are spending their inheritance........... I DON'T care, they can make their own, my theory is we earned it we can spend it LOL. We collected it on Saturday morning, the colour is "INFERNO RED" not sure if you know but RED is my fav colour...... I'm sooooo excited......

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC

Today I am bringing along "CHEEKI" to the Teddy Bears Picnic over at Melody's, Cheeki is a gorgeous little Japanese doll, I have worked for a Japanese company since 1979 and I am in love with everything Japanese, I made four of these "CHEEKI" dolls, one for each of my daughters, one for a good friend and this one for me, I brought them into work when I had made them and the guys at work told me she is very authentic Japanese so I was most pleased. I am sure Cheeki will love interacting with the bears on the picnic today.

TUESDAY TREASURES

These two little plates/bowls are my treasures this morning, more treasures I inherited from my Grandma, I love the colours and they are so gorgeous, they have little wind mills in the back ground, there are no markings on the back of them so I have no idea where they were made.

Do you have any treasures to share, pop on over to Melody's to see who else has shared a treasure this morning.
